The island of Procida (pronounced Pro-She-Da in Italy) is one of Italy’s best kept secrets. It’s a beautiful island, easily reachable by ferry from Naples, and is one of the lesser known islands compared to its neighboring islands Ischia and Capri.
We stayed at what I nicknamed our “castle in the clouds” and the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever experienced, called the Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi, which is a hotel built high above the town of Almalfi on the cliff’s edge, accessible via elevator from an innocuous entrance at street level.
One of my favorite parts of our recent Italy trip was our stay in the town of Atrani on the Amalfi Coast of Italy.
I found the EXACT top from Zappos and a super similar skirt from Amazon. You can get this whole look for about $60!
I've lived in the DC area for the past 8 years. (OMG I feel old!) Below I have organized some of my favorite restaurants according to food category. There are so many wonderful restaurants in DC and I wish I could list all of my favs! If you are going to be in the area and have a question about a restaurant, feel free to contact me! If I haven’t been there, chances are I know someone who has and we can give you an honest review.
Last weekend, Matt and I stayed a night at the Grand Hyatt in Rio de Janeiro. The hotel is located in the upscale neighborhood of Barra da Tijuca, just west of the popular tourist areas of Copacabana and Ipanema. The draws for us are the amazing pool and private beach.
